Marco Island Fishing Charter · Custom Boat Adventures

Marco Island launches into the islands and sanctuaries that define Florida's last frontier coast.

Marco Island is the gateway to the 10,000 Islands and the western Everglades, Florida's last true frontier coast, and some of the most untouched fishing and exploring water in the country. Adventures By Steezy runs private charters out of the Marco area into a maze of mangrove islands, oyster bars, and hidden beaches you simply can't reach from the crowded marinas up north.

The backcountry here is a fishery all its own. We pole and run the mangrove tunnels, points, and creek mouths for snook, redfish, sea trout, and jacks, with tarpon stacking the passes and outside beaches through the summer. It's sight-fishing, structure-fishing, and run-and-gun all in one trip, and because the water is shallow and skinny, the right boat matters more here than almost anywhere on the coast.

Marco is also where fishing turns into a full day on the water. We make island stops at Kice Island, Cape Romano (past the famous dome homes sinking into the Gulf), and the quiet beaches of the 10,000 Islands for shelling, swimming, and dolphin watching. Sandbar days, beach drops, and private island picnics are some of the most popular trips out of Marco, with the cooler, the sound system, and the swim ladder all dialed in.

The boat is the whole advantage down here. I run custom-built, shallow-draft boats that slip into skinny backwater and nose up to beaches the big operators can't touch, which means the spots we fish and the islands we land on are usually ones you'd never find, or reach, on your own. That access is the difference between a generic boat ride and a day in the part of Florida the brochures don't show you.

For the people who really want to disappear, Marco is the launch point for multi-day Epic Excursions: two to five days out in the 10,000 Islands and Everglades, fishing remote backcountry by day and sleeping on the water by night, mothership-style. No day-charter can reach what we reach on these, and every one is custom-built around your crew and quoted per trip.

Every Marco charter is private, your group only, up to six guests, never a shared boat. Gear, bait, ice, and licenses are included on fishing trips; island and sunset trips come with music, cooler, ladder, and shade. Island Adventures start at $600, half-day fishing at $750, and multi-day Epic Excursions are custom-quoted. Text me the day and what you want and I'll build it.

Ready to run Marco Island and the 10,000 Islands? Text Captain Croix at (239) 898-3377 or book at adventuresbysteezy.com. Whether it's a backcountry fishing mission, a sandbar-and-shelling day with the family, or a multi-day adventure into the Everglades, I'll take you to the water most people never see.

Will be remembered for the rest of my life.

I have had the pleasure of fishing all over the world in my lifetime, so I am certainly not a newcomer to saltwater fishing. Fishing with Croix from Adventures By Steezy will be remembered for the rest of my life.
